Taylor Swift fan proposes to his girlfriend during 'Love Story' performance in Tokyo

TOKYO — Alyssa Yeager hoped one of the three nights she and her boyfriend, Nobuya Matsuoka, were going to the Eras Tour, there would be a special question popped.
"It's every major Taylor Swift fan's dream proposal, is it not?" Yeager, 30, said outside of the Tokyo Dome Friday night. "And that's me, the biggest Taylor Swift fan."
Her bedazzled blazer, custom painted fingernails with a color from each of Swift's 10 eras and wrists inundated with friendship bracelets showcased her devout fandom.
After buying tickets to the shows, Yeager sat down with Matsuoka, 35, and walked him through the setlist.
"We prepared so he could know all of the chants and everything," she said, "and when I got to 'Love Story,' I made a small comment like, 'This is the proposal song.' I planted the seed."
Yeager secretly hoped the moment would happen when Swift croons, "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said, 'Marry me, Juliet.'"
On Thursday night, during the "Fearless" song, Matsuoka dropped to a knee.
"I was very nervous," he said, admitting that he wanted it to be a perfect moment for his bride-to-be.
Fellow Swifties captured the moment on their phone cameras. Matsuoka didn't ask anyone ahead of time to record the intimate moment; they did it intuitively.
"Taylor Swift changed my life, saved my life and was there during the best moment of my entire life," Yeager said, playfully flashing her diamond ring before heading into the stadium.
